This policy applies to ArkGram, including its Play, beta and standalone distributions. ArkGram is an independent, unofficial client using the Telegram API. MoeClub develops this client; Telegram operates the underlying messaging service. ArkGram is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Telegram.

1. Data used for app features

Reviewer sign-in

Entering the dedicated fictional review login number on the normal login screen opens a verification code screen. Submitting the review code sends that alias, the review code and a temporary Telegram login token over HTTPS to MoeClub's review authorization service. The service uses its stored session for the dedicated review account to approve a new device session. Ordinary login numbers, SMS codes and passwords are not sent to this review service. The app keeps the reviewer access code in memory; the service retains the dedicated account session until the owner revokes it or removes the service. Server operation logs may contain request metadata and Telegram error messages. The review account is shared with authorized reviewers: messages or changes made in it may be visible to its owner and other reviewers. Use it only for review content. Signing out removes that device session; the owner can also revoke device sessions in Telegram.

2. Device permissions

Android permissions allow features such as contact synchronisation, selecting media, recording voice/video, calls, notifications and optional location sharing. You can grant or revoke permissions in Android settings. Denying a permission affects the feature that needs it; it does not create an offline substitute for that feature.

3. Local storage and credentials

The app stores account sessions, message/media caches, preferences, translation results, filter rules and configured API credentials on your device. Provider keys and prompts are stored in app preferences; this policy does not claim that they are encrypted by ArkGram. Android app storage protections apply. Removing a provider/key removes the app’s saved configuration, but does not revoke the key with its issuer. Revoke it with the provider if necessary.

Downloaded or exported files can be stored outside private app storage and may remain after sign-out or uninstall. Android or device backup/restore behaviour depends on the device and app configuration.

4. Optional services and transport

External translation and AI are optional. They operate when you request an action or enable an automatic/chat translation feature. You can stop using them, disable automatic translation, change the provider, or remove its credentials in settings. The configured endpoint and its protocol determine the destination and transport security; use HTTPS endpoints for sensitive data.

Providers may retain requests or use them under their own policies, account settings and agreements. ArkGram does not control their storage, model training, moderation or deletion. Review the actual endpoint operator’s privacy policy before submitting private content. A translation or AI request can create a provider-side copy even if its source chat uses end-to-end encryption.

5. Telegram and other recipients

Telegram’s privacy policy applies to its messaging service. Cloud chats and secret chats have different storage and security properties; do not assume that all chats or integrations are end-to-end encrypted. Bots, mini apps, opened websites, payment providers and map services may independently receive data when you use them.

The ArkGram enhancements do not add a default MoeClub relay for Telegram chats or custom AI requests. A provider or proxy you configure determines its own recipient. This statement does not cover information you intentionally send to support, this website, or a MoeClub endpoint you explicitly configure.

6. Retention, deletion and your choices

Local preferences, sessions and caches remain until removed through the relevant app controls, Android’s “Clear storage”, or uninstall, subject to device backup/restore. Exported files must be removed separately. Leaving a demo conversation clears its locally composed sample messages; the demo does not create a Telegram account. Demo settings are real app settings and persist until changed or cleared.

Telegram account, cloud-message and synced-contact retention/deletion are controlled through Telegram’s service and privacy settings. External translation/AI providers handle their own copies. Removing the app or clearing its cache does not delete Telegram cloud data or provider-held requests.

Support correspondence is kept while needed to handle the request, related follow-up or applicable legal obligations; you can ask us to delete correspondence under our control.

7. Website, security and international processing

These policy pages contain no analytics scripts or advertising trackers. The hosting server may record request information such as IP address, user agent, time and requested path for operation and security. Contacting us by email sends your email address, message and attachments to our mail service.

Telegram, Google, your configured providers and their infrastructure may process data in other countries. No client, provider or network can guarantee absolute security. Keep your device protected and avoid sharing authentication codes, session files or API keys with support.

8. Age requirements and changes

ArkGram is not directed to children. You must meet the age and account requirements of Telegram, the services you use and applicable law. Material changes to ArkGram’s data handling will be reflected in an updated policy and, where required, an in-app notice or consent request. The effective date above identifies this version.
